Postmates Gift Cards ("Gift Cards") may only be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible goods and services provided by Postmates. Your use of the services available via www.postmates.com and the Postmates app shall be subject to Postmates Terms of Service located at https://about.postmates.com/legal/terms.
You must have an active and valid Postmates account to redeem the Gift Card. Gift Cards are automatically applied to your Postmates account (your “Gift Card Balance”) once you enter the Gift Card code. If you have other payment methods in your Postmates account, the Gift Card Balance will be set as your default payment method. Purchases on Postmates are deducted from your Gift Card Balance. Any unused Gift Card Balance will remain associated with your Postmates account. If a purchase exceeds the redeemer’s Gift Card Balance, the remaining amount must be paid with another payment method in the purchaser’s account.
No fees apply to Gift Cards. Gift Cards do not expire.
Gift Cards cannot be applied to the purchase of alcohol. Your Gift Card Balance cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value or redeemed for cash, except to the extent required by law. Unused Gift Card balances in a Postmates account may not be transferred to another Postmates account. Gift Cards may only be redeemed via the Postmates app and are not redeemable outside of the United States, or in any United States cities where Postmates is not available.
The risk of loss and title for Gift Cards pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission of the Gift Card to the purchaser or designated recipient, or our delivery to the carrier, whichever is applicable. We are not responsible if any Gift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without your permission.
Postmates reserves the right to any remedy, including refusal to issue or honor a Postmates Gift Card in the event of suspected fraud. We will have the right to close customer accounts and bill alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained Gift Card is redeemed and/or used to make purchases on Postmates.
WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO GIFT CARDS, WITH RESPECT TO GIFT CARDS OR YOUR GIFT CARD BALANCE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN THE EVENT A GIFT CARD IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, WILL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH GIFT CARD. CERTAIN STATE LAWS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS, OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.
Any dispute or claim relating in any way to Gift Cards will be resolved in accordance with the Dispute Resolution and Arbitration section of Postmates’ Terms of Service located at https://about.postmates.com/legal/terms.
